The History of the Twin Spruce Tourist Home
The Victorian house that is now the Twin Spruce Tourist Home was built in 1885. This photo shows the home as it appeared at the end of the 19th century.
The home has been in my family for over eighty years. It was purchased by my grandfather Reverend Clement B. Meyers in 1930 and it has housed four generations since.
The home has undergone several renovations within the past few years. Now my grandchildren, nieces and nephews with their children treasure their visits to this Victorian lady which holds so many special family memories.
